The Varsity Wrestling
Team finished 3rd in the Cardinal Newman X-mas tournament. Chris Dyer
finished 1st and was voted Most Valuable Wrestler for tournament. Matt
Risinger also finshed 1st. Other finalists were: JP Moody 2nd, Austin
Shealy 3rd, Nathan Brazel 3rd, Chris Price 4th, and Madison Leitner 4th. |

Team competed in the Sting Wrestling Tournament at Irmo. Finalists for
Gilbert were: Connaly Kendrick 2nd, Gabe McNatt 3rd, Cody Crosley 3rd,
Mason Cox 4th, Chris Smith 4th, Travis Keisler 4th, and Preston Clarke
4th. |

The Varsity Wrestling
Team beat Pelion (48-28) and B-C (51-24) in a 3-way match at Pelion.
Travis Keisler and Sage Price both earned their 1st ever varsity win.
Other Gilbert winners were: Nathan Brazel, Madison Leitner, Chris Price,
Austin Shealy, Chris Smith, Chris Dyer, and JD Jumper. The team is now
2-1 in team matches. |

Team finished 6th out of a field of 14 teams in the Palmetto Classic at
Irmo. Nathan Brazel finished 2nd, Austin Shealy finished 3rd, JP Moody,
Chris Dyer, and Madison Leitner finished 4th for the Indians. |
