The boys track team finished 2nd in the region meet at Pelion Thursday and the girls team finished 4th. Qualifying for the upper state meet were Michael Emmer, Brian Provost, Mathew Helm, Marco Anderson,Isaac Harris, Matt Taylor, Spencer Provost, Mathew Bridges, Alex Derrick, Logan Way, Christopher Price, Carrie Smith, Leah Ligons and Erica Ford. Event winners were Matt Taylor and Erica Ford in the pole vault, Marco Anderson in the 100 and 200 meters, Isaac Harris in the triple jump, and Carrie Smith in the 400 meters. Matt Taylor broke his own school record in the pole vault with a vault of 13'9"and Erica Ford tied the school record in the pole vault with a vault of 9'0".

The Track team hosted a 9-team meet in Gilbert on Tuesday. Marco Anderson set a new school record in the 200m with a time of 22.27. Anderson finished 1st in the 200m and 2nd in the 100m.

The Track team competed at Ridge Spring-Monetta in a 4-way meet. The boys and girls teams both finished in 3rd place. 1st place finishers:  Marco Anderson in the 200m, Rasheena Brown in the long jump, 200m, 400m. 2nd place finishers: Isaac Harris in the long jump, Matt Taylor in 110Hurdles, Marco Anderson in the 100m, Rasheena Brown in the 100m, Carrie Smith in the 400m. 3rd place finishers:  Marco Anderson in the long jump, Issac Harris in triple jump, Marco Anderson in long jump, Michael Emmer in the 1600m, Tarah Sanders in the 800m, Michael Emmer in the 3200m, girls and boys 1600m relay. Marco Anderson set a new school record in the 200m with a time of 22.7. Isaac Harris set a new school record last year in triple jump 42'8".

The Track team competed at the Diamond Hornet Invitational on Saturday. Isaac Harris placed 4th in the triple jump.
